RP Post: Scouting the Playground
The playground at San Carlos Park was busy, with the sun beating down on swings, slides, and the warm smell of grass. Cassidy had climbed all the way up to the very top platform, right where the twisty slide began. From up here she could see everything, like the whole playground was spread out just for her. Teddy was tucked close against her side, his button eyes peeking out at the view.
She opened her little plush purse and pulled out a single gusher, bright and shiny in her hand. One quick pop and her mouth filled with berry flavors, sweet and tangy like magic. She grinned, pressed Teddy against the railing, and whispered, “This gonna be our castle, Teddy!”
And just like that, the hot slide became a tall tower, the stretch of grass below turned into a whole kingdom, and Cassidy was the princess standing proud on her castle walls. A princess with sticky fingers, a happy bear, and the very best kingdom in all the land.
