RP Post: Quiet Days Count Too

Some days weren’t made for adventuring. Some days were made for soft blankets, slow sips of juice, and hugging your teddy bear close without saying anything at all.

Cassidy was tucked into a cozy little nest on the floor, wrapped up in warm fuzz and quiet. Her big teddy bear—soft as a cloud and almost as big as she was—rested under her arm, a gift from Uncle Kiel that always seemed to understand when things felt too big.

She didn’t feel quite right today. Not sick, exactly… just tired. The kind of tired that lives in your bones and your brain and your feelings all at once. So today, her momma said it was time to rest. Not with medicine, not with fixing—but with gentleness. With space to breathe and just be.

So she laid there, sipping slowly from her sippy cup, letting the juice taste sweet and cold on her tongue. The world outside could keep spinning loud and fast. Cassidy had already pressed pause.
